Bye Bye Bobby Bowden

New Years Eve. You can have it. The most overlooked, underrated day of the year is New Years Day. Amateurs wake up with massive temple swelling headaches and far too hung over to eat. For me NYD is all about waking up bright and early ready to go. I will be kicking off the morning by brewing a bold pot of coffee while cooking bacon and eggs (sunny side) of course. American Icon & Football Legend is retiring. Florida State Seminoles Head Coach Bobby Bowden. I'm not going to write about his distinguished career I will leave that up to people much smarter than me. I will say that College Football will miss him. Go Noles!

My menu is full of Maryland favorites. Real Maryland Crab Cakes, Steamed Shrimp, Crab Chips (yes the silver bag) I will serve the other bag to outsiders. My famous for being famous buffalo hot wings. A tomato- basil-mozzarella medly. Bloody Mary's with loads of flair. Old bay. Actually Old Bay has its hand in everything. Red Wine from Italy. Not on the menu are gems that I like to surprise my guest with thru out the day.

By the time the Rose Bowl 'the Granddaddy of them All' kicks off the fire will be roaring.
Happy New years
